Competencies 

Condor Project Management Competency uses a model which defines all of the critical project management competencies.
These competencies are a set of classified skills, knowledge, and attributes that describe a highly-successful project manager:

  • Technical: Project management skills and knowledge that comprise the ten core Knowledge Areas identified by the Project Management Institute's (PMI®‘s), A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide)
  • Personal: Foundational characteristics that support a person's project management capability including: influence, self confidence, flexibility, action orientation, organizational awareness, and a powerful interpersonal acumen.
  • Business and Leadership: Critical skills that enable project managers to link any given project to the relationships, resources, and infrastructure of their organization including: big picture focus, political savvy, strategic positioning, business operations knowledge, and the ability to build relationships.

Condor Gulf set of Competencies:

  • Consulting: A consultant is engaged to fulfill a brief in terms of helping to find solutions to specific issues but the ways in which that is to be done generally falls to the consultant to decide, within constraints such as budget and resources agreed with the client, a consultant may be able to fully complete the objectives and resolve the issue, but in some other cases, the role of the Consultant may be restricted to identifying the solutions and delivering them may require another project for realization.
  • Delivering: Behind every innovation project there is a dedicated team of Engineers and Analyst to deliver innovative solutions. They perform research, planning, design, build and development.
    Much of our delivery success is due to our philosophy of creating close partnerships with our customers and partners. Sharing our rich expertise in delivering innovative solutions.
  • Operating: The concept of Operating falls into two categories, either a temporary category of "Operate and Transfer" to allow the Client to train and prepare their own staff to full competency to operate the solution provided, or to fully operate the solution indefinitely on behalf of the Client either due to financial benefits or legislative benefits.
  • Optimising: Clients are no longer being content to accept lesser results than they are entitled to for their efforts. Instead they may demand and accept nothing less than the highest and best outcome for every solution they invest in, this is why Condor will pay particular attention in maximising the benefits from the solutions delivered, by continuous process of assessment and feedback to ensure all the process and output of the solution are in accordance with or exceeds the plan.
  • Supporting: Technical and Business support,  refers to a range of services by which Condor provide assistance to users of technology products and services in an Enterprise, technical support services attempt to help the user solve specific problems with a product or a process, Technical support may be delivered over the telephone or online by e-mail, live support software on a website or a tool where users can log a call/incident.
